^yeah. that's why i don't go to movie theatres anymore. i end up wanting to reversing/repeating a lot which i can do if i own the thing.

Yep, I have that too, very often. If someone tries to tell me more than a few information I'll be hoping that I won't have to reply, because I just can't understand it all, it's embarrassing. Also, other people probably think I'm deaf because of all my 'Whaaaat?'-s. I was terrified because of this, now I'm feeling a bit better.

This. For sure. Love watching movies at home.

I like to replay scenes with the captions on so I can understand every word. If it's a really intelligent flick or show I'll do that quite a bit so I can go look up new words, phrases, or some historical reference as well.

I have something similar happen, sometimes people will say something to me and it simply doesn't process in my head, so I say "huh?" to get them to repeat what they said; only, as I say "huh?" it suddenly occurs to me what they were saying.
