Honestly, it only tends to bother me in a place like this in reference to autism. "We need X!" "We don't need Y!" What a load of crap. Don't speak for me. It's made me loathe to even think there is a "we" there and has pushed me even farther away from considering autism part of my identity rather than a sort of tumor that's grown on it.
