I'm interested in the pattern you saw, is it something you could explain?

15. I don't know what constitutes a good score, though.

I would say that 15 is a very good score. It means you only got a few in the wrong order.

There's a definite trend toward the colours I struggled with being able to focus on being the ones I had the most trouble with scoring with. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to look away from my screen for a bit because my eyes hurt and this site's bright background is not helping. XD

Yeah it hurts my eyes too. I took breaks from looking at the screen in between bars, which helped.

The problem area was very focused in the green/blue transition area.

I will try :).... first i just separated the colours to 3 -4 similar categories, then adjusted them accordingly... Next step might have something to do with my large screen, also take into account peoples monitors are different so results might vary also depending on monitors, but when i aligned them all up to how i thought after looking at each one individually, i quickly scanned my eyes left to right several times... hard to explain but was able to see in my visual a difference like when you have a moving image book that you flick through to create a motion... and i also noticed the colours for me were like a diagonal cross hair, like 2 triangles in the same square where the lower coloration seemed a little different from the top when scanned quickly...... Probably made absolutely no sense at all! lol, but best way i could describe it....

^ Oh okay, I understand what you mean.
With a few of the colors, when I placed them I second guessed myself and in doing so it lead me to move them over one space. This always made it clear that they couldn't possibly belong in the 'temporary-insanity-placement.'

I scored 32 on my first and only attempt. I didn't take too much time doing it as it seemed easy. I am surprised that I didn't receive a perfect score. I did notice that of the shades I missed most often (by only one or two places) were pink in tone. I don't know if it has any baring but I should mention that I am a carrier of the defective gene on the X chromosome that expresses as color blind males (I have 3 red/green colorblind sons). Maybe I can blame the gene as why I didn't score 0. Or  Maybe Not.

My first attempt. It wasn't that hard--I started from the left and went halfway, then I went over to the right... :D

I thought I replied to this but my message doesn't seem to have come up, so apologies if there end up being two responses from me.

I got a perfect score. I am short-sighted and can get double vision when trying to focus. It's really nice to know my eyes can do something well.

I got a score of 4, but I would hope so, since I'm a commercial artist

Instead of fun it ended up annoying because it is not working.

Bummer bummer, I can't do it, my drag and drop won't work. But I can see the subtle differences in the blocks.

The test is subjective. It tests your ability to tell apart color gradients, something that is severely limited by your monitor. I've seen some cheap LCD panels "cheat" by only connecting 5 or 6 most significant bits out of 8 per color channel, greatly reducing the number of variations (otherwise making the step between shades larger).

My monitor is calibrated with X-Rite ColorMunki Display calibration device for correct color perception, but in reality it does potentially make two of those gradient shades appear the same, due to the fact that there might be a color channel ramp "collision" of values. Uncalibrated monitor might actually do better for this test.
