I don't believe in that "finding your true love" BS. Love is something you create and nurture in a relationship, not something you "find" like a winning lottery ticket or a gold nugget.
So I would probably take the pile of cash, laugh at the man's face for his naivety regarding life and relationships (I don't especially enjoy being a jerk, but he is the one who started by threatening me with a gun after all, and that probably made me nervous) and walk away to build a loving relationship.
