I've been reading about William Freund on the search results and can't find confirmation he was dx'ed. I think it is important to keep in mind that some people who self diagnose may not have AS, but may have a personality disorder. I'm bringing this up because I think it is important to let Geraldo know that anyone can come here and proclaim to have AS. Does anyone recall if he was dx'ed or self-dx'ed?

Here is a new article. I don't think his diagnosis was disputed or that he was self diagnosing. However, others speculated that he did not just have AS going on.

Geraldo is a freaking moron. He doesn't give a s**t about anyone else's life.

Psychiatrists are far from perfect, so even PROFESSIONALLY diagnosed people may not really be AS.

That said, you can't even trust this SYSTEM! It says I have been professionally diagnosed even though I haven't been, and told it I was SELF diagnosed!

In any event, ANYONE can snap. CHO was an idiot psychopath for MANY years! He was almost BORN that way! I mean a death list at EIGHT!?!?!?

BTW I told my mother last friday she could call today. She is NEUROTIC, and calls a LOT! Today I called to take care of it so I could have the day to myself, and one of the last things she said was "DON'T GO ON WRONGPLANET.NET!"! WHY? Because she watched geraldo! I swear, I ALWAYS hated that guy! That she remembered to tell me, and remembered it was .NET is ASTOUNDING!

Oh well, I guess I WILL lay lower. I can only do it on MY equipment, etc...

I think it is more likely to be negatively dx'ed as something else than false postively dx'ed with AS by a professional.

From what I saw of the show, and I was merely pressing the channel down button until I saw the homepage of wrongplanet.net and had to stop, Geraldo was dredging the net for a connection of autism with mass murder. He was discussing Will Freund as if he were not unusual.

Cho made his death list in the 8th grade and that info comes from an interview with one of his former high school classmates.

This is an email I just sent to Geraldo:

YEAH, I DID say psychopath. I thought I saw 8yrs. STILL, to have a DEATH list. I thought about having a jerk list, were I wouldn't work for, do business with, etc... I never even actually did THAT. Still, that is a far cry from a DEATH list. Then again, one acquaintence isn't enough proof and, again, isn't legal evidence.

I grew up listening and watching "Uncle Walter 'Concrete' ".
His word was solid and "that's the way it was".

Walter Conkrite was utterly irresponsible. People who decry the "Fox News" I think do not understand that news anchor with so much power are not suppose to make declarations of the state of how major wars are proceeding (as he inaccurately did after Tet Offensive in Vietnam). Alot of conservatives have decried Edward R. Murrow for his rather blantant use of editing to go after those he personally did not like, but Murrow was a saint (and honestly, he was a good man) compared to Cronkite.

I'm glad we no longer have only three hugely powerful network news anchors. It is better we have moved away from such a centralization of information.

In German, Cronkite (Krankheit) means "sickness." He is aptly named. As for Geraldo Rivera, he is a plain idiot.

I wrote a death list in high school; it felt good to put the emotion to words, and allowed me to place said emotion into perspective, i.e., dropping said people is not a justified action for what they did to me -- rather than said emotion festering 'round and 'round in the mind.

If you cannot express words verbally, it's good to put them to paper.

^ I had a "list of people who seriously need to die" in middle school (written so small that no one could read it anyway). While I had no intention of being the cause of their death, I wouldn't have been opposed to a meteor hitting their house as they slept or a similar event taking place.
