When I am at work. I am operating in an area of competence and efficiency.

When I am with my cats. They are an endless source of comfort.

When I am on my Internet cat site. I get to share my love of cats with like-minded people.

When I am reading a good book. Roger Bannister's story is particularly uplifting to me.

I feel most alive when I am listening to music and imagining things in my mind, such as movement and colors.

Also, when I am thinking of art projects I could make and when I am concentrating really hard when I'm working on one.

Also I feel most alive when I am in my own imaginary world in my head instead of focusing on the world around me.

8O 8O I feel most alive when doing diy projects. Tonight I sanded my outdoor bench so I can stain and then put a finish on it. It really rocks. When I use my mouse sander the vibration is calming. I also like sewing and creating artwork. :D These activities give me sense of dissapearing and not having to perform or act different to my own nature. :D

When I accomplish something important that was previously stuck in idle mode. Nothing makes me feel better.

Deep into the woods riding my mountain bike. Listening to the birds chirping and the wind through the trees or the absolute silence.

When I think up a new insight or idea and also new questions about a subject I contemplate about all the time.

When I'm writing stuff (Which reminds me, I should write some more...), when I'm around people who share my interests, and when I'm left alone to commune with my thoughts.

Although that last one can backfire spectacularly...

On the rare occasions when I am talking to someone and we are both in a good mood and discussing very intensely about something, it feels fantastic to be alive.

I am building a new turbo car up at the moment, though the last one I had, I drove 1400km back home from the guy I bought it from. I was driving at night and had no radio/music in the car. Just the sound of the engine. At one point it was early in the morning and therefore many long trucks were on the road. I would come up behind them at 120kmh and they would notice me and turn their right indicator on to let me know that no other cars were coming from the opposite direction. This was bascially my licence to plant it, so I grabbed 4th gear hit the juice at overtook these trucks at about 170kmh changing up to 5th at the exact point of passing them, making the loud whoosh of the blow off valve 8) That was great.

(The car in my pic is the one this story is about)

When I'm breathing
When my heart is beating
When I view my reflection
When I'm feeling pain

i feel alive when im doing something stupid that no NT would ever think about doing just to show that i can do it.
an example- leaning backwards by my feet from a third floor balconey just to see what it would feel like.
it felt great by the way such an adreniline rush.

im a totally adreniline junkie and feel most alive when im doing extreme sports.

but i also feel alive when im on my own in an empty space such as a forest and am just left alone with my thoughts.

but what really makes me feel alive at the moment is hanging out with a certain supastar
