As far as I know, "basket case" came from the practice of people weaving baskets in institutions.

Just put a round in my noggin whilst I'm pacing to and fro on the footpath if you want me cured so badly; it'll accomplish the same thing: completely destroying who I am.

I don't want to communicate with the rest of the world: fugg off or just kill me.

I like the cure.
They were very good on the Disintegration Tour.
I rate Faith and Pornography very highly too. The last album was a brief return to form, although they are certainly past their sell-by date nowadays.
