My son is terribly afraid of movie theaters. You would think we were committing child abuse the way he carries on when we try to take him to see a kid's movie.

When I was in pre-school, my mom had this roaring tiger statue that was as tall as me in the game room. No, it didn't really roar, but it was in the pose with it's huge sharp teeth right at my eye level. And when I was three, the tiger at the Houston Zoo wanted to get after me so all that statue did to me was let me reminense that bad memory. Plus it was creepy looking! I recently saw it in an old photo, and I can still see completely why I hated that thing! We ended up selling it at a garage sale when we moved to Indiana. I believe it was a family from Thailand whom bought it.

I have also always hated house fires. They freaked me out so much when I was little and they still do. I also will freak out if I'm in a situation where I could potentially get severely injured, and I was scared to death of most dogs when I was little, but I've outgrown that one since.

I was offered pink fairy-floss (cotton candy) when I was about four and I screamed and screamed because I had no idea what it was.

I was terrified of railroad tracks. Whenever my dad would drive over them, I would freak if for some reason he had to stop over them or even near them. If we were walking and had to cross them, my dad would have to pick me up and carry me to get me across.

As a kid I was afraid of light sockets, lighting a match and taking a shower. I wasn't afraid of being clean, I was afraid of water going over my head ever since I had a near drowning experience at age 4. I was bitten by a brown recluse spider in middle school so then I became afraid of spiders after that. Also used to be afraid of needles.

Oh! I was also afraid of that electronic kids game called Operation. My mom told me it could electrocute someone to death if they weren't careful so I believed her. My cousins used to laugh at me because I was terrified to play it.

I used to be afraid of road drills because of the noise, and of thinking stuff to myself incase everyone else would then know what I was thinking.... And new places, I hated holidays, new shops and would nt go, when I moved schools I clung to the railings every morning until my mum explained this was now my school.

I was afraid of taking showers too. I also had a fear of going in the pool or ocean where I couldn't stand up. My mum used to tell me to float on my back and I refused to do it unless she had both hands under me. Sometimes, she would just pretend to hold me up and if I found out I'd get really pissed off.

I'll have to give you a spanking outside a public bathroom on the top floor of a very high building, then. ;)

I was pretty fearless when I was a kid.
However, there were a few random one's I do remember having.
Most of my fears when I was a child were one's that people told me I shouldn't even be thinking about at my age.

However one strange one I remember was the sound of the toilet flushing at night.
Only at night. I wasn't afraid of the dark or anything like that but the toilet. Oh no, I flush and RUUUUUN as fast as my little legs could carry me.
