I get really nasty migranes from things like stress and poor posture causing undue stress on my neck.

Driving 75 minutes back and forth from school, then doing something else right away with out laying down first will trigger a migrane.

Heat will also trigger migranes.

I got them a lot as a kid and they would make me throw up too.

I used to suffer from nasty migraines when I was younger, went almost 20 years
without one then they came back but not as intense, frequent or long. But always in the back
of my mind I know "the BIG-ONE" is coming. Sometimes they are triggered by stress
or sensory over-load, or over stimulation.

I used to have terrible headaches when I was a child. I don't have them so much anymore.

I get them pretty often and take Topamax as a preventative and Fioricet as a painkiller. I've tried so many different things and have pretty much run out of options at this point, as I'm either allergic to some or can't take others because I get hemiplegic migraines sometimes, where one side of my body will start going numb and I won't be able to speak. Also, things like aspirin and ibuprofen (like Advil and Motrin) cause stomach bleeding.

Krex is right about the rebound headaches. I was getting them pretty badly for a while until I stopped the cycle of taking painkillers and drinking coffee (to help the migraines) all the time. The barometric pressure has become a huge thing for me, and flying is a disaster because I always end up throwing up.

I *****NEVER***** had a headache until I was 7 or 8. THEN I got them when I concentrated hard. It has been so long since I have done that, that I don't think I even can anymore. Anyway, The headaches got worse and eventually were fairly constant. B vitamins and magnesium got rid of them. I don't generally have them anymore. Of course, if I got stressed out, had a lot of cigarette smoke, or something similar, I WOULD get the headaches, and extra light/sound DOES make them worse.

I suffer from headaches frequently, mostly stress related I assume. Especially originating from situations in which I'm forced to act counter to my natural instincts.

How good is your depth perception?

I know a lot of people with AS seem to have problems with Depth perception / Their eyes not working together. This can cause some pretty serious eye strain and be a source of headaches. I have this, never thought it was related to AS, but apparently it is.

If you think that Light or bright objects may be causing you issues, I would consider a lightly tinted pair of sunglasses, even for inside.

My depth perception is fine. I think it's just sensory overload. I keep it very dark where I live because the light bothers me, and I ussually won't get a headache until I go outside or into a lightly lit building or room. Loud noise or extreme smell will do it too.

For the last couple of weeks, I have been dizzy and have had headaches that feel as though someone hit me between the eyes with a rock.

A lot of people get headaches if their vision is bad. If they're having problems focusing or the like. But me, I'm still the opposite. Instead of getting headaches, I get dizzy and woozy.

The only problems with my vision is that I have astigmatism. And because I can't focus correctly, I stay dizzy instead of having headaches. I mean, like anyone else, a sudden bright light or a flash will hurt but it quickly subsides.

swim gets this when he takes psychedelics. he also gets this with the herb some times. Swim has thought that it was sensory overload in the past.

I was hoping to find in this thread that Aspies have an intolerance of vitamin pills. I must be the only one.
When ever I take a vitamin supplement(any kind ,any source) I get excrutiating head pain in the back of head and back of neck. Lasts about 20 hours. I know this yet sometimes I still take a vitamin and cause a massive headache, doesn't make sense. I have to stop doing this.
