I think its an aspie thing to be sensitive to the light.

Yeah, I think so too.
I used to be nocturnal because of it.

My left eye is perfect but my right eye is rubbish. I used to have perfect vision until I got a computer when i was about 15. I must have looked just with my right eye or something. :-)

I know it sounds stupid but i don't understand the poll. I've never seen such marks before -_-

I have about -2.0 in both my eyes + little astigmatism in one of them. I don't know if its bad, but i sometimes have problems reading even with my glassess on. I mean, with my glassess i feel like watching some hd movie XD but still i only can read for about 3meters even if the letters are big. (i mean like, writings on the boards, signs etc.)

Same here. I have to wear sunglasses whenever I am outdoors, otherwise bright
sunlight or glare will trigger a migraine.

same as above.I am not sure of the actual perscription but have been wearing glasses since 12 and actually needed them before that(but my parents ignored it to pray for my eyes, lol)

I see upclose, just fine but have to take my glasses off to do so.

I have very, very bad eyesight and could not see at all to be able to function without contacts or glasses. I also have astigmatism in one eye and am extremely sensitive to the sunlight. I cannot go out without sunglasses on, or I can barely see and my eyes water and sting endlessly.

I never heard of this before. I looked at the site and pictures. I don't think I have it, but I do see the halos with lights, especially at night.

I have no idea what numbers my eyes have, but my sight seems pretty bad to me. My sight is extremely short sighted and glasses are a must. Everything is way too blurry to make out otherwise. If I drop my glasses, ofcourse they are completely invisible where ever they land, and I wouldn't be able to read a monitor or a book unless I looked at it 2 inches away. But I could walk around mostly fine. One or both have astigmatism, my eyes are also too dry to wear contacts, and I'm a bit sensitive to light. If its a dark and cloudy day, but still in the middle of the day, I'll probably be half squinting when I'm outside. I am practically nocturnal right now, but I wonder if its because of something else.

I've had myopia since I was in grade school, though I was phobic enough about docs not to be willing to admit it for a few years. I remember getting my first glasses & being just amazed & thrilled to be able to see leaves on trees not real close. I also have astigmatism & by about 45 yrs. old need vision correction for reading, part of the time. Though the reading correction doesn't seem very good & I often end up taking-off my glasses to read. I've been sensitive to light since I was a kid - I remember that very well. Even on pretty overcast days, I can't comfortably drive or really look at things outside without fairly strong sunglasses.

It doesn't look like there's a strong pattern here connecting any one type of vision with Asperger's.

20/200, without glasses. Thankfully correctable to 20/20.

I was born with cataracts so my eyesight is appalling.

I take +18.5 contact lenses in my left eye and +15 in my right, and I need glasses on top of those. I have astigmatism as well, which doesn't help.

None of this is connected with my AS though.

I have like 20/40 vision, or something like that. Not too bad, but I do have glasses. Usually only wear them when I'm on the computer for a long time, or when I need to read the blackboard at a big lecture class.

I have suffered from visual snow over the last year or so, but I can't tell if I've always had it and only just now began to notice it, or if pot abuse and the occasional trip have caused it. Luckily it's not a problem, I only notice it when i look at walls.

I do have bad eyesight. I'll never be able to drive. I'm about -3.5 on the scale and I have nystagmus and can't focus too well. It can often be a bloody nuisance for me, particularly when I need to find or see objects and moving things.
