Opinion on marriage.
^Whaaaaaat????
It would be nice if more people said 'I think that...' instead of saying 'THIS IS THE WAY IT IS!! !!'
Anyway, I'm probably going to settle for adoption.

No it is not.
Marriage is a scam and so are the licenses that are sold to you.
Everything in this post is completely wrong.

Yeah I'm pretty much on the same page. I don't want to get married.
1. I like being alone and having everything to myself. Before I was diagnosed I felt lonliness but after my diagnoses I had to learn social rules like look at a persons face, let the other person talk, don't talk about sonic, don't inturupt. Socializing became very unsatisfying and I no longer crave it. I still have friends but now I just don't feel urges to talk to them.
2. Reproduction. First of all the idea of pregnancy is f*****g horrible, (especially since I have a phobia of vomit and pregnancy tends to cause morning sickness) childbirth sounds like hell and the idea of rasing a NON autistic child-I'd rather cut off all my fingers. I barely remember to feed my animals (legally I don't think I should even have pets) I also loose my temper easily and after growing up with an explosive mother I'd rather not propetuate the cycle- having an autistic child would just be the cherry on top.
3. I really do not believe humans are suppose to be married for life. People CAN do it but why would you? Why dedicate your WHOLE life to this one other person. It doesn't seem rewarding to me.

That video is hilarious and accurate but Marriage isn't a scam (except the $150 license: what a ripoff that is!). Nobody is forcing anyone to spend much ridiculous amounts on a wedding.
I still can't believe how much money people waste on a one day ceremony: my brother for example spent $7000 on a photographer who's work was absolute garbage. We are have a pretty fancy wedding and we are about 1/3 of the average cost. We could have gone even less but our parents were insistent on certain add-ons (and are paying for them). My brother spent $6000 on the rings and I got a nearly identical set for about $600. Still expensive but considering the average house in our city is about $400,000 that is a far higher priority to save for.
^When I get married, I'm going to have a small, private ceremony outdoors somewhere nice.
