I like to hold an arm (occasionally a leg) in the air whilst lying down. But I always suspected it would be considered an odd thing to do, so I only do it when I'm alone.

I hold my arms and legs in whatever position the cats will permit me to sleep.

OP: do you mean like reaching for the stars?

I always place an arm over my forehead when I sleep.... I don’t really think this is related to autism though. :?

I mean like reaching up vertically, when you're lying horizontally. I just remembered I sued to do that as a kid and people commented on it. It probably has nothing to do with AS though, but I just thought I'd see if anyone did anything similar.

My 100% NT husband has done this every night for as long as he can remember. His brother used to complain about it when they shared a room as kids. It kind of creeps me out, actually.

As a child and into teen years I slept flat on my back with the covers over my head and feet sticking out covered in cats and I never used a pillow.

Now I just sleep kind of normal I think. No side sleeping though, uncomfortable.
