I chose severely, because this is the hallmark of this curse for me. I'd be able to do anything if it wasn't for feeling like the world is physically pummeling me.

Thankfully after discovering what this curse is, it has helped me realize this and come up with more ways to deal with it. Sunglasses are a must. Real dark ones anytime the sun is out, even if I'm inside. That alone has been a great relief to me.

Other than that, having my own quiet apartment to retreat to in the evenings is a godsend. I live much of my life alone. If it wasn't for the way people physically affect me, I'd try to be social. But the smells, the sounds, the physical presence of them are too much to handle really.

Because of all this, I'd probably be healthier if I lived out west on a prairie away from everyone. But I still believe my best contribution to society is to stay here and fight this out to the end. Hell, if I lived on that prairie I'd think it was time to die anyway.

I'd honestly say that my sensory issues are very mild, as is my Asperger's Syndrome, though some aspects in particular can be an issue. For example, despite the fact that one of the primary ways I learn is through touch, I remain somewhat sensitive to it. Additionally, I have a low heat tolerance, and can't stand temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit whilst doing anything more than light exercise for very long. I also dislike the sensation of tags, as well as the mixing of differently-flavored foods.

Felt rough last night and let my wife give me a shoulder rub. It was only the 2nd time I have ever let anyone rub my shoulders. Once I got over the touch thing it was OK, but my mind is far too wired to relax anyway, I bolted upstairs after 2 minutes to lay in the bath and read a book in the peace & quiet

Even though I'm blessed with none. That has been a bit of a curse, since it took me so long to figure out my condition.
Guess being a loner, and extremely self reliant/resilient. Helped me get by.
Though I did have a girlfriend for 4 years. I was quite indifferent towards her, now I've matured.
