If i was mounted on a spring I could descend stairs like a slinky which is infinately preferable to "at speed via my bum".

I also tend to bump into doorways etc as I have trouble judging the clearance , Ive noticed that a lot more recently and it drives me crazy. Its no wonder I dont drive lol.

Had a seizure last week. Lost my balance (that's the early warning system I think) Then lost consciousness....woke up with a broken cheekbone.

Other times I bump into stuff/ trip and fall.I don't know if it's an actual equilibrium issue, like vertigo/inner ear disorder...or if I'm just clumsy as hell.

I loose my balance all the time, I don't know why, sometimes I feel like I'm about to fall backwards and pass out, it gets so bad.

Sometimes I'll be standing still and just start to fall over. I also tend to walk into people, walls, pretty much anything in my way. My knees are both covered in scars from falling down or falling off my bike as a kid.

I also have a real issue with navigating stairs, especially at night, and getting down steep hills.

I wonder if it's due to an inner ear problem. There was a post here recently about people with AS having ear aches as a child. I had them all the time until I got into high school.

I have more than my fair share of the "klutzies" and of course there's that mysterious
other left foot that appears out of nowhere and trips me. Sometimes I suddenly get dizzy
and I have to lean on something to keep from falling. My doctor thinks these may be
Transient Ischemic Attacks. But my blood pressure is ok.

I'm a clumsy typist on the computer, and I often accidentally click on the mouse. It's a twitchy kind of thing.
