I worry that I'm being rude or selfish without realising it. I worry that I might not be able to tell if I'm annoying or upsetting people.

Too often, people say things they don't mean, and mean things they don't say.

How do you not let someone bully you?

Stand up to them.

People always say to stand up to bullies, but how do you stand up to them? It's hard for me because every situation is different so you can't always do the same thing.

Yes, I wish I had empathy and social awareness. I have no clue how my actions may affect others sometimes, so I fear I have gotten into a bad situation.

If you could, then please give some examples of situations and i'll give you my opinion on it. If it's too personal then just PM me. Cheers.

quite often, for those of us on the lower-functioning end of the spectrum, bullies are usually too smart, strong, clever, quick, sneaky to defend against properly. that was the case for me. they were predator and I was prey.

I did at one point cuz of my anxiety & OCD but it changed & I quit. I'm mostly too much in my own world zoning out cuz of ADD to have much self-awareness.
