Why does my voice sound "different" than everybody else?

Also something else, I find that I can't make a speech longer than a few words without stopping for a breath. How is it possible to "breathe" while speaking? Maybe I don't have the ability to do that? I mean, it's not like people deeply inhale before making a speech or every few sentences. What could be my problem?

Joubert Syndrome is associated with asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy, but I am not completely sure whether you have been diagnosed, formally, are seeking diagnosis, or informally comparing yourself to someone with that condition.

I don't want to make you worry, if that is inappropriate.
