I live in a country whose average IQ is below the global average. And my test shows above average, therefore that's like 10-20 points gap compared to people around me.
And so I would never think of myself highly, even with all their compliments of my 'intelligence' and 'talents'. That's just their perspective -- one of the many. I have just yet to find another else's.

I always imagined in a different culture I'd be more of a below average person or so. But I don't make a big deal out of it. I value my 'tricks' that I discovered and worked for, over my innate IQ scores and talents. I treat the latter as my 'reference' than the truth.
