When I first looked at it, I got the swastika thing. But the more I look at this thing, the more it looks to me like part of a maze that's gotten cut off from the whole thing. Nobody'd understand what it meant, but metaphorically it's not bad, perhaps :wink:

Yeah, to me it looks like a reverse, sans serif "ש" ('Shin'); that, or a really badass menorah (fitting, since so many people on the list of famous [probable] Aspies were/are Jewish).

Well, the symbol being used to represent Autism is, at the moment, a blue puzzle piece, or a bunch of colorful puzzle pieces stuck together. I don't necessarily mind IT so much as I mind the association.

I think the stair case thing is the best one or a butterfly. Because butteflies have to cacoon themselves to grow.

Personally, I don't want most people knowing that I have Apergers. The diagnosis is beneficial for helping me understand myself, but that's all I use it for. I would not go around advertising it.

A butterfly is the symbol of the Deaf Foundation because they're deaf.

We need something along the lines of Autism makes people diferent but still the same.

It makes me think of the letter 'Y'. Like it's posing the question "Y?" or "Why?". Which is a question a lot of us like to ask. There are like...you know... multiple levels of irony in this. I think it should be our semi-official gang-sign/tatoo. If you spraypaint any thing, consider showing some Aspie pride and mark it with this symbol.
