Autism causes of depression
I'm pretty sure 90% of my depression is biological. Self-esteem doesn't play a large part.
I don't think it's merely coincidence that I'm both neurologically atypical and suffer severe depression. They are definitely related. I think it's more than autism though. There's a difference in the way I process emotions. I think I've always felt both physical discomfort and negative emotions to a more extreme degree than other people. Other people seem more numb to things than me.
