Don't microwave a jelly doughnut, either. It gets way too hot, and you can burn your esophagus. Not a good thing.

Also, when the directions on the box for a frozen dinner suggests a time range, use the maximum time. I once took the average of the two times, and cooked it for too short a time. I got really sick as a result. It was awful.

I'd like to learn how to cook WITHOUT a microwave. :P I know a little bit about more traditional cooking methods but I'm really out of practice.

I was afraid of using the micro when I was little but I got over that in my teen years. I use it 1ce or 2wice a day.

Microwaves are great if you don't mind bland tasteless highly processed foods and the long term cancer risks.

Think i'll stick with the oven.

Yeah, i can't use the oven very well at the moment so this was a big step for me :D
