I often push the door when I should pull it, and pull it when I should push it. :D That doesn't make me nervous; it may look dumb, but I don't think that's a problem.

I tend to do the opposite of whatever I'm supposed to be doing to get into a place, generally because I'm looking at the other doors and they usually have the opposite word. (i.e. I'm supposed to be pulling a door, but am so fixated on the door that says "push" that I push on the door repeatedly before I realize I'm supposed to pull it)

I also tend to get dodgy-if other people are on their way in, I'll dart out of the way of the door and let them go, wait for it to close and then give it another shot. I don't go in if someone holds the door for me usually, I won't go in if someone is coming out of one of the other doors. Maybe it's just that too much is going on even if it is only one person coming out.

i dont really have a problem with doors, more when yer walking down the street and someone is walking in the opposite diresction and when you get close to passing oneanother for a splitsecond you dont know wich way you want to go or he wants to go. i hate that

lol, yes, "the dance of decision" is what I call it :P I always stop moving entirely then just ask the person which way they are going, or allow them to walk around and get wherever they want to go. It's really frustrating when they tell you to go ahead then they start walking :? or when they keep saying "go ahead" and you just want them to pass so you can focus on where you were headed again.

its terrible, terrible i say!! a trick ive learned for dealing with this is when i see the person comming and know its going to happen i stop and pretend i have a rock in my shoe so i am not moving, when the threat has passed i just go on walking as normal

I do that too, at times-if it's outside and I need to get through the door. My son is also very leery of going through if people are coming out and I try to get him calmed down, but it's a relief when he starts jumping up and down, because it gets us to pause for a second and we can wait out the groups and time it so we get in on our own, lol.

Yes, doors are too confusing sometimes! I have been using the chemistry department of my school for 5 years, and I still walk into doors there!

I HATE turning keys! I still haven't learnt how to open the garage door and house door because each of them turns in a different direction and I mix them up!

simple fix for that, is there a way possible that you can have a garage door opener put on?? so all you hav eto do is press a button so all you ahve to do is just remember one door's direction.

if its your parent's house, why not ask them,
