I'm relieved to hear others have the same Bizzaro World problem with pills/Meds. They've almost always had the opposite effect of what they're suppose to do. The Vicodins and Percocets do nothing for pain with me. Aspirin gives me a headache. Anti-histamines make me wired. Just one more thing to live with. Remember Jack Nicholson in "As Good as it Gets" and how he hates pills. I'm the same way.

Schadenfreude,

I hate the term co-morbid too, especially when applied to AS. I think the term is useful for co-existing physical pathologies that will lead to death if not treated and managed.

I don't react to high-powered sedatives. Regular interventions such as aspirin and Advil work better for me.
