I only use it as intended.
I dont say that something is autistic (as a synonym to ret*d), but i do occasionally do say ret*d.
I dont really mind it when used as insult, but i do think that it is quite immature.

I, too, enjoy "offensive" humour. I somtimes mock my stupid behaviours, and I get a laugh out of it.
I honestly think that a lot of people want to be offended at something sometimes.
(Also lol'd at "online activists".)

A ton of people not only want to be offended by something, they actively seek offensive language. Most of the time they have ridiculous standards for offensive.
Example: "I dont like x and it is idiotic and stupid"
Respons: "er mer gerd (omg) did you know that you are actually being offensive and an ableist (ableism: discriminating against disabled people) for saying such a horrible ableistic slur like "stupid" or "idiot". "

It is ridiculous the lengths some go to be offended or even "triggered"

^That's why I was laughing. I figured he was talking about *those* people.

I like offensive jokes. But not the type of offensive of jokes that are with disability or autism. I actually really love stereotype jokes and racist jokes if that counts as offensive humor.

One problem with the term "autism" is that it straddles two definitions. The non-psychiatric notion being that of "selfishness", so the opportunity to be used as an insult is disappointingly built-in.

People would likely treat you badly if they believed you. But they may also not believe you and think you are trolling.
