I probably am.

I love hurting myself repetitively, I derive a massive amount of pleasure from it; as I hurt myself I'm hurting you and when I hurt you I'm hurting myself.

It's an interesting topic I just wish it wasn't started by a troll.

Watching the pidgeon come to feed!

Erkolos,

You really ARE pretty stupid. You also state your boundless ignorance so succinctly! BEAUTIFUL! :D I love how you make that so clear, and you seem SO happy about it. but I don't think anybody here really cares!

Even though this was created by a troll, it's still an interesting discussion to be had.

Sociopaths are created, and psychopaths are born. So it isn't entirely incorrect that people with Asperger could be sociopaths, but it is inaccurate to assume that all people with Asperger are sociopaths.

Sociopathy comes from life experience and how it shapes your mind, while psychopathy is a disorder you're born with. It's still very similar to sociopathy but an actual genetic disorder. I could be wrong, but that's what I've read ^^

I don't consider myself a sociopath though, but I have trouble with empathy and I often don't really care about other peoples opinions unless they involve myself or something I'm interested in.

I've read that sociopaths are born too, actually. In addition, nearly all people who will be eventually recognized as sociopaths engaged in some form of cruelty to animals by age three.

Erkolos....why would you try to say something like this? Mate I know you are not serious. No-one else here has any indication that you are completely dinkum about what you said. I suspect you wanted to see how strong the reaction is ....but mate seriously....better ways to do it. I reckon an apology and/or a reason why might not be entirely outta order too.

Whilst I don’t go out of my way to “hurt” people, I still question them on their ailments in the hopes they allude to the underlying emotions; you can derive pleasure from this a varying number of ways:

I’ve never felt anything but pain and when I see pain in others I feel pleasure
If I make peoples’ pain less when they reveal it to me, I feel pleasure
When I reveal my pain I feel pleasure
I physically harm myself and I find the pain pleasurable
Et cetera

There’s emotions attached to these; I guess these emotions define if someone is “good” or “bad”, but that’s beyond the scope of my mind....

I don’t know much about “antisocial” disorders; must one go out of their way (rather than questioning peoples’ pain) to cause mental and physical pain to be called “antisocial”?

Aspies are sociopaths because they disregard social situations for sheer pleasure. I've seen the threads, how you berate everybody else. You know, the symptoms are consistent, such as praising yourself, disregarding social rules and customs, thinking your too good to be touched, etc.

I hope Cure Autism Now is successful.

You know, these kinds of posts aren't very constructive.

May I ask what prompted you to post this? I know you have been talking about ABA on another forum (about the non-violent, beneficial potential at least) but I doubt this is truly your view. Unless you are a different Erkolos.

With that you have just "confirmed" the views expressed in the initial post. I find that attitude deeply saddening and disturbing! :(

That may be true, but Sociopathy can still be developed by outside influences and life experiences - while psychopathy is a disorder you're born with. But not all people who engaged in cruelty to animals are sociopaths though?
