These people must like you enough to hang out with you.

You have to think of both "your standards" and "their standards," and not "NT standards." "NT standards" could mean absolutely ANYTHING.

I felt so little for my elementary and HS friends that I couldn't even call them my friends when I talked about them after high school. Now I really feel for my friends, NT or no. But for a while I was predjudiced against NTs due to a lot of NTs' prejudice against autistics.
