Yeah- he plays violin.

He's a few years younger . We get along well sometimes .

I tend to sit and rock in a chair when my anxiety is really high, like in a Dr's office or any other stressfull (for me) situation. I will also shake one of my legs if not somewhere I want to be seen rocking like a resturant or other public place. But if the anxiety/stress is high enough, I will rock to self regulate. Dodger

I was friends with a kid who some thought was a "genius." In retrospect, he might have been "Aspie," too.

He was about 3 years younger than me---but he was 6 feet tall at 13; whereas I was 5 foot 2 at 16.

I had a crush on her sister, also thought of as being a "genius," who was my age. She spoke almost exactly like Daria; she was extremely logical like her, too.

My mom plays clarinet, but my dad isn't musically inclined at all lol.

Thanks! I don't know if any of that smartness rubbed off on me , but my family is pretty smart, even my sister. She has a really short attention span, but she amazes me with the things she remembers. She could tell you something that happened 3 years ago, but not something that happened 3 minutes ago. Some people think she's not as smart as my brother, but I think she's really smart too .

I forgot---is she one year younger than you?

She's a little younger than my brother. I'm the oldest, my brother is almost as old as me, and she's the youngest .

I rock the upper half of my body forward and back when I really have to concentrate. It sort of makes my body feel connected and all in one place and I then can focus better. It's as if I don't have to worry that parts of my body are straying off. I also used to rock my ankles and legs in school when I was younger, but other kids would give me a hard time about it - I only do that when alone now. I should relax about it: rocking is an effective way of stimming for me and helps me loosen up.

At least you get along with your siblings much better than I got along with my brother, who is 5 1/2 years older than me.

Why didn't you guys get along?

I think he was angry that I had all the attention when I was a young child because I was autistic. He felt deprived of his mother's love.

I also used to break many of his toys and games; he's still scared that I might break something of his LOL

Oh, I get it. Maybe because we're all autistic that doesn't happen. That being said, my sister and brother may not be since we're not sure.

You all have more similarities than my brother and I have.

Lol I'm guessing you don't? I like "The Singing Trump." He was on America's Got Talent.

Trump really doesn't like intellectually smart people too much, I sense. He thinks some of the knowledge which they obtain is "useless."

I don't mind it if somebody likes Trump---that's not really why I don't get along with my brother.

Yeah. I think Trump is a bit full of himself, to be honest. That being said, I like Trump, and we get along well .
