My parents and 2 siblings are/were right handed. I am left handed. I'm the least neurotypical member of my family.

There's no left-handedness in my family at all, as far as I know. Maybe there were some lefties that were forced to switch, but I never heard about them.
I can't 'prove' I was a lefty, but I remember in school the teacher making it VERY clear that all pencils go in your right hand and making sure I put it in the 'right' hand. It was probably a leftover to more religious times as public schools were still run by the church in the 80s where I lived. My handwriting was nothing short of atrocious and I spend many, many hours practicing at home (and it still sucks).

While it's common now, I was the only kid in minor baseball who threw right and batted left (and only left). The coach tried repeatedly to teach be the bat the 'right' way but gave up when he saw how hopeless I was doing it. What's really interesting is of all the people close to me, it is nearly a 50/50 split between left and right. My wife and father-in-law (who both have Aspie traits) are also left handed.

A Major League star, Bryce Harper, bats left and throws right. His brother is total lefty.

I'm always really interested in this for some reason.
I am ambidextrous / cross-dominant, and for some reason, that really seems to piss people off. As if I'm doing it to be difficult. I have read the instances of cross-dominance is higher in schizophrenics and autistics.
Interestingly, when drunk, I was entirely left-handed. When sober, both.

I wish I could be ambidextrous/cross-dominant!

I think part of the reason people dislike these sorts of people is because of envy.

I do some things better with my left hand, and others better with my right. I write with my right hand, but I distinctly remember that when I was learning to write, I didn't know which hand to put the pencil in, so I looked around to see what everyone else was doing. Despite having almost no practice, I can still write reasonably well with my left hand if I want to.

My mom, my sister, and I are all autistic and left handed. My brother is an NT and a leftie. My dad is autistic and right handed. I can open soda bottles and uncork wine bottles with my right hand. I taught myself how to write with my right hand, but my handwriting looks heater when I use my left hand.

Are the autistic people in you family autistic to a similar degree?

I'm on the spectrum and I'm a lefty.

I can relate, I'm ambidextrous, but it's not equal on both sides, for example in writing my left hand is dominant, when I was younger and would conduct my right hand was dominant, when I played soccer my right foot was dominant, and when I played tennis my left hand was dominant. From 8-10 I played baseball, we had tryouts and teams would 'draft' players onto their team for the season, all three years I was one of the first five kids taken off the board, my dad said that's because there was value in hitting both left and right-- funny thing, I did awesome at tryouts, but absolutely sucked at the actual sport, a wasted pick for my team every year, lol.

Interesting. I'm right-handed (and Aspergian), so is my mother (also Aspergian) and her father was ambidextrous (and an Aspie as diagnosed by me, looking back on my knowledge of him).

 Kraftie, we all had similiar issues as children, except my dad didn't have speech delays. I was quiet in school as was my dad. My sister had meltdowns at school when she was a kid. When my mom was a kid, she would hit kids that got too close to her and when offered hot chocolate refused to drink it because it looked like dirt water. My mom, dad, and my sister all had limited diets as children with my sister being the most picky. I ate just about everything except ramen and Fritos. My mom is better at making inferences about people than my dad is. We all have hard time finding decent friends. My sister was in see classes and regular classes when she was a kid. I was in honors classes as a kid. My parents were in regular and honors classes as kids. My mom also received occupational and physical therapy at school as a kid. My sister had speech in kindergarten through 12th grade. I had speech through 3rd grade. I should have had speech for much longer, but my good grades camouflaged my issues.
