But my tastes are very ecclectic... I have about 65+hrs of music and music videoclips on my computer.

Do you like June Tabor? She's wonderful, she has an amazing voice. She sings a lot of strongly celtic influenced music.

My mother is very fond of bagpipes as it is. And it seems as though her cat, Grace, is as welll. So Grace in order to satisfy her bagpipe lust learned how to use the ON button. And thus in the middle of the night the bagpipes would go blaring.

Now, my mother unplugs the stereo before she goes to sleep.
hehehe

A list...

Aerosmith
Andrew Lloyd Webber (Just PotO right now)
Bon Jovi
Chicago, the Musical
Creed
Daft Punk
Def Leppard
Depeche Mode
Duran Duran
Eiffel 65
Evanescense
Guns N' Roses
John Williams (SW Ep3 right now and various movie themes)
Journey
Lake Of Tears
Led Zeppelin
Linkin Park
Metallica
Nightwish
No Doubt
Poison
Rammstein
Scissor Sisters
Styx
The Art Of Noise
The Killers
Weird Al Yankovich
ZZ Top
Movie Soundtracks

I haven't ripped a lot of my CD's yet, so some of these bands aren't on my play list yet. I just listed any band occuring at least twice on my list or I have a CD for. I used
AudioScrobbler for a while, but becasue of how many CD's I haven't ripped yet, it was fairly inaccurate in guessing what other bands I would enjoy. Before I cleared my list, Nirvana was at the top of the list of recommended bands. Bleh! I enjoy some Jazz, but I haven't ripped that CD yet. No artist in particular, just heavy in low brass. BTW, I only like one song by Creed.

how long have you got...?

however...

LOATHE frank sinatra - i'm a tony bennett fan, myself. and june tabor is fabulous - smoky vocals, or what?

i have music which only one other person i know has a copy of, and he's both an muso like me, AND reviews things/writes for magazines/runs the Bath Fringe Festival, so he gets all sorts of stuff sent to him. hector zazou's "songs from the cold seas" is one album which only we two in the whole world seem to have! marvin pontiac is another one, and i COPIED it for him...

if you want a REALLY obscure album, then go to the "freedom road" album links, and then to "santa rosa" on this site (i'm doing all the vocals apart from the lead):

http://www.cosmicsmiles.co.uk/tracks.htm

it's me singing, although badly (it was a dodgy scenario, believe me), and i was mixed very badly indeed. and i have no idea why he insists on using the word "white" to describe me in the blurb on the page... ;)

It doesn't sound that bad. You're voice is good. How long is the full version of the song? It sounded like the guy just kept singing the same thing over and over again.
