Because sometimes, people with autism may be good at memorizing a certain type of thing due to their passion.

Like, it took me 2 hours to memorize 151 Pokemon names in Japanese, and to recite them in order.
Because I was really obsessed.
I'm also good at memorizing Latin names of animals.
But I'm terrible at memorizing how to write Chinese characters.

Yes I'm also pretty good at remembering numbers, I know most of the numbers for the businesses and security numbers in my area, I know pi to the 54th digit which I learnt quite a few years ago. I am also very good at remembering the Latin names of plants, but if someone tells me their name or date of birth I almost immediately forget it. I guess it is just a matter of interest.

You're cool! I have nothing like that. My memory is like walking with a lantern in the dark. I see fragments precisely and everything else is dim.

Haha, I opened this thread 100% expecting it to be someone talking about Homeopathy and the nonsense about water molecules having memories. I will quietly dismount my high-horse and put him safely back in the stable :p.

Good that you have that ability. I was OK at chemistry up to GCSE level as I was seemingly the only one in the class to get the whole molarity thing but, sadly, I was having a tough time around 17 so the A-level chemistry went a bit wrong. Could have done with that kind of memory for molecules :)
