Like it a bit too much.
Hence, have been in rehab.
I've seen the brain scans of alcoholics.
If you want severely shrunken frontal lobes, carry on drinking.

Absolutely not.

I need to be in control of myself, being inebriated is not being in control. I feel like I would let the mask slip.

Obviously something to do with keeping up the 'act' of being normal.

Yes I like it, maybe a little too much...

For instance I've been avoiding this forum a few days because the other night I accidentally drank too much wine and was posting here, and was embarrassed about if I posted anything incoherent or stupid in that state. I got a box wine with four bottles worth and lost track of how much I was drinking

No I did not drink the whole box...but likely close to a bottles worth.

I don't like alcohol per se, most of it taste like crap, but i like being drunk maybe 3-4 times a year (unlike normal people who do that every month). I can live without alcohol for long periods of time like after i got my embolism, i stayed of alcohol for over a year, no biggie really, but then i'm not a social animal that feel the need to go out and have a drink with others.

Absolutely love alcohol, but it took 35 years to learn that it doesn't do me so much good.

Spent many years binge drinking to feel better about myself, to feel normal. Started at about 14 and went at it for 2 decades. It became difficult as it started affecting my sleep a lot and my next day was all out of sync which would leave me a bit stressed out.

Once I stopped drinking I realised I was unhappier than I knew and I started focusing on being happier. I drink once or twice a year now but mainly I am in the gym every day, I sleep well, my daily routine makes me happier and I feel better about myself.

I very much enjoy wine or pear cider with appropriate dinner. It's really tasty with some dishes!

I don't like being drunk at all, but I do like feeling tipsy. It makes me more relaxed (but not more social, unlike some people).

I thoroughly enjoy a cold glass pint of pale beer, approximately 5% alcohol and preferably brewed somewhere in Canada. My preferred brand names include Molson Canadian, Budweiser or Olympia with Olympia being my favourite of all and it's brewed in Saskatoon, Canada.

I'd be drinking a lot more of it if I could afford it and if I had the time, believe me. Hard liquor usually causes me to vomit almost immediately for some reason. My stomach does NOT like hard liquor in any form whatsoever. At. All.

Meh, I like the taste of beer more anyways.

:D

I enjoy a few beers every now and again but I'm not a big fan of liqour due to the burning sensation it gives.
