My Autistic obsessions are Autism, Facts, European Empires, and Progressive Rock. Did you know the British Empire had an exhibit in the years of 1924 and 1925.

Natural diasasters and strange weather, peoples personalities, autism itself. I have many more unique obsessions.

Body horror, particularly '80s/'90s movies

And also the short film "Bobby Yeah" (that's where my current avatar is from) - warning, not for the faint of heart

NieR, it’s one of my strongest obsessions in awhile, my last one being winx club 10 years ago. I can’t think about anything else, when I’m talking to friends all I think about is Emil, when I’m playing video games, more Emil.

And whenever I’m sad, stressed, or angry, I just imagine all the characters around me. I would much rather be with them then anyone irl.

love this topic! u guys are awesome :D

little animals, kitties make me melt
Guitar, quantum physics, drawing, and i got this trick where i can say which song it is after three seconds in. Whatever the drumline is, tone, i'll know the song. I can memorise most songs after a couple of runs and replay it front to back with all the instruments and little details.
astrology. Like clockwork i'll go outside and stare at stars for maybe two to three hours, and look at the moon or airplanes...
Recall what people were wearing on a certain day , even years back.
Memorise womens perfume's , i can normally tell what she is wearing if i'd smelled it once.
And i can shoot threepointers in basketball at videogame level. I'm not that great a player but i can shoot 50 threepointers in a row cause i have a thing with aiming. Guns, arrows, whatever...

for the rest i'm still scared to go to the store or let people touch my head or look in too my eyes...who cares

As of right now, my obsession is the Nintendo 64 hardware. I’ve been doing a lot of research about its motherboard, components, and specifications to try and find out how it could’ve been improved.

My one main obsession has been human interaction - how to connect, how to relate. What's acceptable, what isn't. How to have a strong, healthy, monogamous relationship.

Others come and go. Right now I'm interested in Christmas history and handblown glass ornaments, aquascaping, and snowflakes.

I know this is off-topic but I have a hardware question related to the 64 maybe you could answer. They made the 64 with an optional expansion pack that gets inserted in the top that's required to play Donkey Kong & Perfect Dark in one player mode. My question is Why was it an optional add on thing instead of being build into the system :?:

I'm not sure I've anything which qualifies as obsessive.

Things which occupy me sometimes are language (ie: English spelling/grammar), Genesis (the band), sports statistics. All, of course, are tempered by my ADD so while I learn them, I don't remember them.

I also want to know things, but nothing specific. How things work, non-sports statistics. Again, I have issues with being able to read (but I don't know exactly what it is).

Film, TV, words (there's a mathematical aspect to it (I'm the writer/copy editor type of aspie)), researching (when on a bender I can get lost in reading books and watching documentaries on a subject for weeks non-stop, gathering facts becomes an addiction).
