Purr-I love the sound of it and I love the sound of a cat purring.

I love the name "Denis," because two of my favorite tennis players have that name. Both are of Russian descent, and both play for countries outside of Russia, Istomin for Uzbekistan and Shapovalov for Canada.

When I'm in the mood, I like the word "grandiloquent" a lot.

Other times, I like "weeping willow."

How about made up words, anyone? I've always had a bit of a thing for inventing nonsense words (and I like nonsense poetry too).
The words I make up don't have meanings, it's all about the sounds and how it feels to say them. I would be very embarrassed to have another person hear me saying them, but I use them a lot when I'm chatting with animals, especially cats!

My current favourite is "smnecketybomp" (ha ha, I just realised I don't know how to spell them! :lol: )

My interest is piqued by English (British) words esp. town names e.g., Cambridge, Chatham, Essex.

Some of the Beatles songs applying English themes can also pique the imagination.

I have quite a few Czech words that I love to repeat. Punčocháče, muchomůrka, pantofle, řeřicha... Also I love to say kebab.

I like to invent words and keep saying them as well. Generally I forget after sometime what they are but few sticks with me, like purštář which is a pillow that purrs (polštář: pillow in Czech) or pivole which doesnt make any sense but is similar to the expression ty vole (you jerk) and it has pivo(beer) in it.

ADDENDUM: Another English (British) word i.e. town name 'Scarborough' came to me after listening to the American duo Simon & Garfunkel; 1966 song 'Scarborough Fair- Canticle' - An awesome harmony I sometimes imagine when the town name, or song comes to mind!

Another (lively) version of 'Scarborough Fair' was performed by 'Sergio Mendes - Brasil 66' in 1966.

Sometimes we relate specific music to specific words.

yes, I like February also because of the silent R, but I like to pronounce the R. I practice saying certain words because it is pleasing.
