I'm sometimes compared to Sheldon Cooper. Being a theoretical physicist myself doesn't help!

I was compared to Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. (in an insulting way)
He obviously has AS.
Though I'm no where near as pedantic as him.

I was compared to Sheldon when a girl on a dating site asked me if I am capable of love because Sheldon wasn't. So, yes, it was an insult. If I was like Sheldon I wouldn't be so lonely and miserable all the time.

Yes. My kindergarten teacher once compared me to Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. It kind of makes sense since I've always been a bit of a loner. But I know Eeyore is a gloomy and sad character, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't like that at that age.

Apparently my dad thinks I'm like Charlie Brown. I got upset when he said that, since Charlie Brown's known as someone who fails at pretty much everything he does. But looking back, I can see why he thought that. My personality is very similar to his.

I've had this too, but only in a friendly way from someone who knows I have ASD.

I've never seen Big Bang Theory.

Spencer Reid, the 11th doctor (though I don't watch Dr. Who, so I don't know what that means), and Bean (from Ender's Game, but more specifically Ender's Shadow). That last one is my favorite to receive because Bean is my favorite character and those books are a special interest.

Yeah, I don't really get offended.
I'm not that eccentric, which is why it didn't really make sense to me. I'm just not a normie; I don't do normie things.
Normies think that if you "think for yourself" and have different opinions to the group/current society that you are "weird".

I was compared to Sheldon by a girl in middle school, to Spock by a friend in college, and to Chidi from The Good Place by my mom. Not sure if the Sheldon one was an insult or not. The Spock one was a complement. My mom was teasing me about how I'm always the last to order at restaurants.

I get compared to fictitious characters all the time. Usually nerdy male ones like Sheldon Cooper or Brick from the Middle.
