Do you get upset when someone arrives late? And why?

I get really upset when people are late. I do know that sometimes, it happens without being intentional, but it bothers me a lot when people are late and don't acknowledge that they are late and don't apologize. I know a lot of people like that personally.

as i side note, i am rarely late. precious lil "people" are often late. not only that, but they often phone call at the correct time, to tell me that they are late.

before the advent of cell phones, how did anyone arrange social interactions?

It upsets me when plans get changed where they get canceled/pushed back at the last minute or I don't know about em till we're doing stuff. I like to know what's going on. But I'm not really bothered by people arriving early or late unless i'm waiting on them to leave for an appointment & I'm worried I'll get to my appointment late because they were late.

going back to this, i can't even hide the anger. this guy has been horrible. We were meant to meet up today in the evening for a movie night with another friend and he went there and didn't bother to let me know. not only that, he's always late, never apologises and makes it seem like im the crazy one. sure, i could be a bit crazy but he is so disrespectful and i gave him so many chances thinking he's a nice guy. maybe he has poor social skills (i naively thought). well, good riddance.
