I'd pick my girlfriend because she already is my special interest & I love spending time with her.

...which would it be and why?
My three major special interests are I Love Lucy, Cedar Point and their roller coasters, and science. I think my choice would have to be science. While I can't even imagine never watching another episode of Lucy or riding the Magnum ever again, I suppose I could deal with it. After all, I usually only get to go to Cedar Point once a year, and I often go weeks/months without watching a Lucy episode.
On the contrary, I indulge in science most days. It's what I've made a career out of, and I read science books almost every day. Plus, of the three special interests, science has been around the longest. I've been into anatomy/physiology since about age 3. So, I really can't remember life without science.
And I realize this question is geared towards those of us who have more than one major special interest. So, for those of you with only one, lifelong special interest, why is that one so important to you (and sticks around instead of you changing topics)?

I thought long and hard about this one, and I just can't do it. I love all my special interest. It's just too hard to pick only one. I did try.
