I think to one degree that I understand why Phychologists say it disappears but I find that Phychologists who are specialists with ASD in general are a bit more truthful. After several visits to that Phychologist who said that the one who actually assessed me was truthful he explained that it will always be there but there will be times when you think it has gone, but that does depend on what is going on in your life, how much pressure you are under etc.
