Only in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

I have received enough coal to heat a small town.

What, no whipping sticks or horse manure? You've been cheated.

No, generally speaking, I do not care----I'm too old and too tired.

I care a little bit about it, at work----but, only cuz I don't wanna lose my job.

Of course I do.

For example I wear Contact Lenses instead of glasses and the reason I started wearing Contact Lenses was because saw a photo of me before I wore glasses and the person ‘this is a photo of you when you was normal’ it wasn’t that long after that I started wearing Contact Lenses call it part vanity if you like, also I was particularly in denial so any thing that seemed to look like a disability like wearing glasses was a definite no for me.

I care about some things, such as I don't want people to think of me as mean, rude, or insensitive. However, as I have grown older, I've stopped caring as much about little things like what people think of my looks or my opinions on things such as TV shows, books, and music.

I think it depends very much at the culture and mentality you come from.

In my country people tend to be verry judgemental and reserved to a bit conservative. Its verry hard to make social connections like friends to it is not wellcomed to speak your mind straight forward. It is mostly taken as an insult which mostly lead to a break up off the connection.

Now reffering your question is, if its complete strangers i dont care what they do think of me. At the other hand i do care for the peoples that are close to me or like my mental health care person that comes to do home visites.

I live with the idea to treat people as respectfully as id expect them to treat me. She is very much the only person that does care for me.

Sometimes i lose my s**t midst on the streets like a meltdown not as a 5 year old kidd a super mall ofc but ill be enormely stressed with my surroundings and can respond grumpy whilst yet i care to not use verbal insulting words. The social anxiety has in my opinion nothing to do with thinking what other people think of me. Its a core mental issue i carry from a hard past where i never did learn to create social connections. Think of it its like haveing fear of hight to face another human beeing and open a dialogue. If you experienced allot of issues due to aspergers being very straight forward and honest people it can lead to social anxiety because you are as example afraid to make someone upsett or offending someone unintentionally which makes you afraid to be around people because you cant be yourself. I dont think someone with aspergers or autism is able to hide themself ofc there are always excceptions.

Wilst not careing also doesnt mean to give a s**t about the people after all they do have feelings as we do no matter what does trouble us in our lifes.

Occasionally. Briefly. On the surface. Deep down I'm apathetic.

The manure was left on my front porch. Someone had even lit it on fire to keep the manure warm. I had to use my own beating stick to put out the flames.

I care very little in terms of appearance. All throughout high school, I wore a polo shirt or turtleneck and then a pair of sweatpants. I usually try to shave because I don't want to make others uncomfortable, but if I don't get to it I don't worry. However, I do try to cover up my scars because I feel uncomfortable answering questions about them.

In terms of morality; however, I use to be excessively insecure. I care a lot about being perceived as a good person. For the longest time, I was obsessed with reaching moral perfection. It got to the point that I was easily manipulated to go against my morals for the sake of being someone else's definition of "good." I'm still insecure about it, but I'm not so easily manipulated anymore. That was not the proudest time of my life. :(

Although it depends a little on context and the people in question, but overall I care very little what others think of me.
If anyone chooses to judge me based on things I'm not willing to change, that's their problem. OTOH there are things in which I'm not willing to stand out.

I do care, a lot. Socially, I'm different in many ways, but I still consider myself someone who loves a close-knit "tribe". I've had to accept that things won't always go my way.

I really don't care what other people think of me. The amount of freedom that gives me feels great.
