I live by myself in my own apartment.

I've lived on my own in a flat for more than a decade so technically I live independently. I don't have a problem keeping my home (or myself) clean and tidy, and I'm able to go out to do my shopping when it isn't busy.

That's where my 'independence' ends though because I don't have friends, a job or a social life so I'm practically housebound.
