I watched a chick flick at the local theater, went shopping for clothes, and ate lunch at a Japanese restaurant.

Housework speaks very highly of you, though.

Housework is one of those things that we all have to do. Sigh.

Kraftie, your wife can't stand you?

Sometimes, she gets very exasperated with me.

She wonders if there’s “something wrong” with me...because I can’t make a bed properly....I’m serious!! !!

Maybe you should take her out. You're in the City....lots to do....yummy foods.

She thinks that's a waste of money...

And she likes to wander the stores, and wants me to accompany her on those sojourns. I'd rather just sit on a bench with my phone. Why does she want me with her when she wanders the stores, anyway?

That's sad. I like to eat all different types of foods. The City would be my place. I guess eating isn't a hobby for her.

She's not really a connoisseur.

Her very favorite thing to do is to wander around the 99-cent stores. One time, we were in New Brunswick, Canada, which has lots of natural beauty. She spent like 3 hours in one of those Dollarama-type stores. If I wasn't there, she would have spent the whole day there.

For whatever reason, she derives pleasure from wandering cheap stores looking for bargains. Or the clearance sections of elegant stores.

That's just her. And she has a right to her pleasure. She works very hard.

As long as she respects your tastes too.....I hate dollar stores for the most part. Something about the smell and sketchy parts of town they are located.

I like Macy's bargain racks though.

Find out what they did this weekend. Then tell them that you were abducted by aliens, learned how to speak Mandarin, and climbed Mount Everest.

She thinks my being on my tablet prevents me from "seeing reality."

My belief is very much like Ralph Waldo Emerson....Transcendentalism.

She believes that stuff is a crock of you-know-what LOL

I love the clearance rack at Macy's. Belks also has great clearance racks.

I'd like to do all those things---except get abducted by aliens.

Now....if one could learn both Mandarin AND Cantonese, that person would really be in business!

I think it would depend upon the aliens...
