It appears that the only way to log in is by using the subordinate URL <https://wrongplanet.net/forums>.

I guess I'm not the only one with issues logging into WP. My main browser is Torch which has several anti-ad and anti-phishing extensions. I can get to other sites just fine but not WP. It just hangs. I've tried Torch on incognito but it still hangs.

I also have the Edge browser. When I use it to try to get on WP, it also shows the white screen. However, when I use it in incognito, like I am now, I get into the website just fine.

WP used to load a page with DDoS which then redirected you to WP. I haven't seen that in a few days.

This is all getting much worse.

Remedies: 1) employ knowledgeable staffers to overhaul the site, 2) purchase adaptable PHP site from trustworthy vendor(s), or 3) sell the site to a business which has the reputation of security and stability. If the site owner was broadcast driving a restored gold Jaguar car a couple years ago, I suspect that accomplishing these options is affordable.

My Windows 10 system is secure, lightning fast and very functional on all other sites. The fact that I and others are receiving hints of looming redirect hacks concerns me much. I do not want to pay yet another repair bill from Geek Squad just for the sake of communicating with my few WrongPlanet.net friends and others.

I suspect other WrongPlaneteers don't want to pay such bills, either.

Oh FFS I thought Alex would have fixed this by now.

The main page has a whole bunch of malicious redirects, each linking to some "/mod_filezipr.php" page.

Just wait for the hackers to move on to other subordinate URLs. At a certain point in the near future, they will move from one sub-forum to another shutting down the entire site.

How best to secure or encrypt a URL?

I have AdBlock Plus installed on my browsers, I wonder why that is why I haven't experienced it yet?

when visiting poorpeopler.tk I get:

In the past often a new window would open with some junk I assumed was generating ad revenue for WP and now is a redirect.

I have AdBlock Plus, too. But I still get stalled out on the site's main URL page.

I have to use the forum index page link to bypass it, something should be done to save/preserve this site

Yep, we all do, too.

I've fixed the issue, someone injected code into the index that was redirecting to spam sites.

The redirection script is still in the header. The malware URL is being changed on a daily basis.
The current script is:
Code:
<script>window.location.replace("http://porterexprience.tk/index/?2601510941471");window.location.href = "http://porterexprience.tk/index/?2601510941471";</script>
