Yeah, I definitely will follow the suggestions of my dentist from here on out...Now that I'm keyed in on all these things.

I think part of this too may be gender related. I think from an early age women are much more conscious of their appearance and their face especially.

Statistically women have way better oral health than men I think a large part of that is due to the aesthetic component more than anything else.

I would also assume that women in general have more knowledge about skincare and acne as well.

I actually have pretty good teeth even though there was a period of about 3 years when I didn't go to the dentist because I didn't have insurance. In high school, I had to get my wisdom teeth removed because they were impacted, and I had just gotten done wearing braces before they showed up.

As for my eyesight, it's a genetic thing where by the time you're in your mid 20's at the latest, you need glasses or contacts to see things in the distance. For me, it was in college that I noticed I was having trouble seeing the board in class, so I was the one who made the appointment to get my eyes checked.
