Playing with other children?

I pretty much never initiated play with other children. I'd play alone, but if another child just came up to me and wanted to play, I went along with it.

It said in some report from when I was in kindergarten that I watched groups of kids play instead of playing with them. I was part of the group but somehow not part of it at the same time. I remember I played with kids some but I preferred to do my own things.

I had a "best friend," and preferred that he play with me, rather than us playing with the other kids.

I did play with other kids, though, out of necessity.

I liked playing the ball games, but not relating to the other kids except my "best friend."

I didn't like playing "tag" because I was a slow runner, and I got tired easily. I also didn't like "running without a purpose." I preferred to have a purpose in running----like when I was playing football.

I used to play with other children in our street when I lived in Tasmania we had a lot of fun, but when I came to Melbourne I just played alone although I did have one or two friends.
I found it harder at Primary school and I was bullied so much I spent my lunch times in the school library.
At the Special School it was a lot better and I used to play pool with friends in the Multi purpose Room.

My same age cousin I was raised with, is the only other child I interacted with.
