People say Im child like in how I act and that its annoying. I get overexcited about stuff sometimes. I get hyper as well. I flap my hands when I am excited. That embarasses people sometimes.
I like to color as well. I cant color in the lines well though. I scribble sometimes. I like to play with toys still as well. I have a lot of stuffies I really like. They are really soft. I love puzzles as well. I cant sit still long enough for the big puzzles though. I have 2 favorites. I have a looney tunes puzzle I really like and a sesame street puzzle I like. I also like playing with fake food.
I also watch shows like arthur, and the rugrats. I feel good watching them.
I also have a mini trampoline to jump on and when I watch tv I sit on a seat I can bounce around in.
I dress a bit weird as well apparently.I like sweatshirts with my favorite cartoon characters on them, converse with easy to tie laces, Velcro and slip on vans shoes, and pants that are designed for people with sensory issues.
NT people think I am very weird. I sometimes think I am weird because of what they say. Sometimes I dont think people understand how what they say can hurt. People call me the R word sometimes. I get really discouraged. I start to believe what people say.
I have ADHD as well and developmental delays. My IQ is lower than most NT people I know. It is 80. Im really good at typing and reading though. I should join a support group so I can meet people who understand what its like in person. Im terrible at verbal communication though

Repeating myself. If the other person doesn't give an obvious enough acknowledgement that they heard me, I keep repeating because I think they must not have heard.
Being slow to process things that are simple to others (like instructions), and being able to processing complex information more quickly than others (like a topic/hobby). I simultaneously invite both irritation and jealousy. I am perfectly capable of understanding anything in the end though if it has some pattern or follows rules.

Asking endless swathes of questions often relating to politics, and constantly seeking out people at inconvenient moments. I do that on an enormous basis. Some people here might have personally been witness to it.

For me its being over inclusive in detail, telling every detail of how Ive come to some decision or action and including what they would consider irrelevant information.
Off the top of my head, not answering the question I asked, so that I'm told what I already know instead of what I need to know.
