I've just quit after a couple of years of taking Mirtazapine.

I only stopped two weeks ago so it is very early days yet. For the first week I hardly managed to get any sleep at all although that seems to be improving now. I no longer have the extremely menacing and threatening dreams that I had all the time when I was taking it.

My hunger levels also seem to be getting back to normal. I no longer feel extremely hungry all the time and when I do feel hungry I am finding it easier to ignore the feelings. Although not overweight I would still like to lose a bit of weight so hopefully I will be able to do so now.

Whilst taking Mirtazapine was one of many factors that helped me get out of the deep hole I was in a couple of years ago, I'm not sure I would want to start taking it again now having had experience of just a couple of its common side effects.
