How long did you have to wait in all between the initial asking and the assessment?

I haven't had my actual assessment yet. That's what she's referred me to.

Ah. I was very nurvous asking my doctor to be referred. It actually took me about two years to ask. If you are in my area of Wales, UK I know the rough length of time efoee I am assessed from the date I was referred.

The postcode lottery can be terrible.

The area I grew up now has one of the worst waiting lists in the country (although I don't remember it being bad when I was diagnosed as a child), but seems to have one of the shortest when it comes to receiving support. Not sure how correlated those two things are.
