Fun for me is:

Singing
Seeing my cats as I go outside to feed them
Playing tennis (working up a good sweat, seeing my skills improve and meeting different kinds of people)
Toastmasters

I believe you enjoy the solitude white-water rafting brings----perhaps more than the white-water rafting itself.

I bet you have "fun," at times, when you're on shore looking up at the stars after a hard day at the canoe. Or maybe you really enjoy rowing the canoe on the river.

You keep on going back to doing this---so you must derive some enjoyment, in toto, from going white-water rafting for a week.

Watching tennis, particularly Nadal and Istomin, although I do get a bit keyed up when watching Nadal, in particular. Federer gets me a little irritated sometimes, especially when he's playing Djokovic. He has squandered match point against the Serb on a number of occasions. Watching Denis Istomin, with his calm demeanor, makes me calm as well.
