Yes have an autoimmune disease known as ulcerative colitis which might be a factor for flu like symptoms in my case including aches, fatigue, sore throat, congestion, symptoms vary everytime so it is very hard to tell.

So am gonna go out on a limb here and make a herbal suggestion for helping to treat causes of some of your symptoms, boswellia , himilayan brand and neem same brand . Personally ,providing your not showing any obvious heart condition might add powdered comfrey root , or same item as a tea. Allow use for 2 weeks before asessing . Whether it helps . This is merely an addition to any other stuff your doc might have you using ... these herbs work on the colon. Just a homeopathic thought. None of these are any kind of a stimulant
Very strong healing properties . The boswellia is a anti inflammitory

If improvement and diet is pretty good considering condition after using above stuff, might consider mucinex 1200 mg guafenisen/ 120mg psuedoephedrine.
This recommendation , might ask dr. Opinion , found this stuff has helped me.
