More or less. Never put too much thought on it.

The usual appropriate-enough wears are just comfortable enough for me to get around on daily basis.
For now, never went out beyond a pair of pants and shirt of my own size at work. Not much outside work, it's usually worse.

And in any fancier occasions, I get to pick and ended up coming out decently enough. I just had to put up with whatever I have to wear.

Except I've yet to find actual clothing with maximum comfort at all. Never experimented enough for either fashion or comfort.

Well, one advantage of being a Catholic priest is that I don't have to worry about dress sense: it's black with black.

Yes--but Roman cassock, or frock coat as suggested by the 3rd Council of Baltimore, or regular clerics, or that T-shirt you wear in your videos? :)

I generally wear normal clerics. My community has a different cassock from diocesan priests but we generally only wear it around the house or for liturgical events like a procession.

In my videos, I've worn a t-shirt over my clerics (see my avatar), but I rarely wear that unless doing a presentation on autism.

My mum was after me for the way that I dress a few times in my life. The last time she was after me, she tried to coax me into wearing clothes that didn't match my gender identity. She finally got that she wasn't going to change the way that I dress, so she gave up.

My mum once criticised me (as an adult) that i wore dull-coloured clothes. Like dark blue, dark green and brown. So when I went shopping next, I bought a bright yellow t-shirt.

Like Joe90, I never wear skirts and very rarely wear dresses. It's pants and shorts for me. With a t-shirt and sometimes a hoodie on top.

MANY times.
When I do dress properly, it is to do with my energy and happiness. If I'm happy I try to dress well, (it seems to come about naturally), or now.. I actually purchase nice things from time to time.

My XH told me that the first time he met me, the things he noticed about me that were positive, but then he told me

and that you have zero sense of style.

I fell to the criticism early. By high school I mostly conformed, except for my socks, which my mom continued to routinely criticize, but I held out and I don't recall other kids making fun of me. My 8yo ASD-like daughter dresses wildly wearing a whole mix of colors and patterns and doing fashionable things in an odd way (making a choker out of the ribbons on her dress; wearing my pj bottoms as a pj dress - apparently it can be done; see YouTube).

At work I've been criticized that I look like a man or in reverse had men stare at my breasts b/c I look "too much" like a women. So I mostly wear jeans and conservative tops. I would TOTALLY wear outrageous clothing, e.g. loud, spunky dresses, etc., if I weren't afraid of the criticism.

Teasing: Too bad that when I finally stop fearing criticism I may be too old to put on some of these outfits. Like you, I'll just want to wear something comfortable --- but outlandish!

I dress well but I've got negative reactions for wearing the same thing/outfit for stretches of time, despite my clothes being clean and pressed. I'm the kind of person liable to buy 3 to 5 of the same thing if I really like it and feel comfortable in it.

I have no idea why this is a problem for some people, I just had to learn to avoid doing it as it leads to annoying comments.

I got teased a little in my preteen and early teen years for some of my more experimental choices. In my defense, it was the mid- to late 1980s, and I spent the first seven years of school wearing uniforms (Catholic school).

Since then, I’ve generally gotten compliments on my dress sense. That said, it’s taken me years to figure out my style, and I’ve finally landed on something that works most of the time. Colorful, flowy blouses or tunics or political T-shirts; tailored pants or mom jeans; funky socks (mismatched more often than not); and either Chuck Taylors, combat boots, or sandals. I wear my wedding ring, a pride bracelet, and a religious necklace every day and occasionally add other jewelry. I do clean up nicely when the occasion demands it, though.

One of the issues the school principal had was that we were sending elder to school in the same shirt or pants he had worn the day before.

The teacher also thought his outfits looked 'thrown together' (not well-coordinated).
I told them later that it was XH who is in charge of that (he denied it during meeting)

because he brings them over in the morning saying they're already changed, and I don't notice anything about clothing besides buying it.

I did say I'll pay more attention in future, and I have been.

Yes, too many times. I just started telling people that my fashion goal is to embarrass my mother.

That gave me a much-needed smile.

While I rarely ever buy clothes, I do tend to want to buy more then one of everything if it is practical and I get on with it.

For example, this it the third pair of shoes I have from the same make and model that I've had. It works for me and I like them. Problem is they are not often available, but they are soo nice and practical...

Full fingered gloves for cycling is an issue for me. My fingers are long so I have great difficulty finding cycling gloves. Usually I have to buy any gloves I can find my size as it is rare to find gloves my size. I have two pairs of thin jogging gloves which are slippery on the handlebars, and one pair of cycling gloves that are too small for me so my hands get cramped on long journeys. Any decent cyclist knows that you only wear half fingered gloves in the summer... Problem is that due to the cycle industry following Tour De France tupe cycle racing or mountain bike racing, both of which rarely need full fingered gloves, but half fingerged gloves are worn, the industry does not cater so much for the ordiary cyclist.

Mind you, I cut my cycling down and have only been out once or twice (And not foe about a year) in the last two years due to burnouts etc... So I need to slowly get myself back cycling again. Need to work on the bikes first though.
Sorry. What are we talking about..
Ooh. Clothes. Yes. If something works for me I stick to it if I can. However, I can have difficulty wearing new clothes. I need worn clothes... So it is a case of whatever fits and gives me comfort.

My mom is worse than me at fashion when u have to pair things on the spot...

but her taste is also good.

So she chooses to only wear Pakistani clothes which are already coordinated and there are really nice ones..

you don't have to worry about matching..
All u have to do is buy a set no need to figure out matching pants shirts jackets ...
or get your tailor to make you a nice thing...

Even if u spend very very little you Just need to have good taste....

Then just don't wear sneakers with it. I think sneakers with those S Asian outfits look disgusting... Sneakers work for western clothes only...
