Do people act weirdly around you?
People are just different than you. If you have an Asperger syndrome then you are less emotional and have less empathy. You seem kind of cold and unlikely to connect to. Be aware of the empathy of NTs. They are always sensing and reading your emotions. It's unlike that they try connect to you once you show a bad mood especially towards them. Best is to keep a positive mood.

People also have a tendency to, when they actually notice me, treat me like a child. I think they can tell that something's up with me but can't quite put their finger on it, but usually they assume some sort of intellectual and/or developmental disability is involved. That, and I look young - at age 27, I still regularly get mistaken for a high school student.
I get treated younger than my age despite the fact I've been told I look older! I just accepted that I probably do something odd to cause it.
For most of my life, before I found out I was on the spectrum, I dealt with it by thinking of most people as a bunch of jerks that just act hateful for no reason, and just staying away from them as much as possible. Now I know the problem is with me, somehow, but I don't know how to fix it. I try to say hi and be friendly but somehow it doesn't seem to work for me the way it works for everyone else.
It's nice to see I'm not alone but I hate that we have to deal with this. In the past I really struggled with making friends who wouldn't hurt or manipulate me and now, while I am lucky enough to have friends, I still struggle with the majority of my classmates. It really does feel like they can just sense something is off.
Yep, I get the college thing years ago in a different college same thing happened, someone was supposed to work with me online over this group app (forgot the name), they didn't, every time the lecturer asked them to, they wouldn't, they would just avoid me and most of the other class, despite being alright at first eventually started to bit a d1ck about the whole thing. So yeah they do, or I'm just invisible.
