When I was 2 years old, I was climbing a little ladder thing at a Hungry Jack's (Australian version of Burger King) playground, and I fell down and hurt myself.

I didn't sustain any injuries from the experience, but it was enough to leave me with a fear of "heights".

I don't really look at it as a fear of heights so much as a fear of falling though, because I don't have an issue on theme park rides that go high up, or on aeroplanes, or looking out the window of tall buildings. It's only when i have to climb something, or when there's a feasible possibility of falling that I have an issue.

I used to have an average fear of heights, but where I live now, it is below average. I am cautious, but seldom upset. One bad time was climbing a cliff with crumbly rock.

The really funny thing is that I'm very afraid of heights, but at the same time I dream of one day being able to fly on my own two wings  I think I'm better with the idea of flying myself because I would be in complete control and would feel the air beneath my wings supporting me. Still would take a lot if getting used to, though, I'm sure.

I have always been scared of heights. I tried hard to get over it, but nothing seems to work.

Am I scared of heights?

Actually yes,

when a 6 foot 6 bodybuilder walks towards me in a dark alleyway. 8O

Very much so.

I ramble about like a tank on the ground, but in the air I am a coward.

Actually, no.
I have no fear of heights, that I am aware of.
When I worked on the roof of my 2 story investment property, I was as happy as a monkey in heat.

I believe I share this fearlessness with psychopaths, but clearly I ain't one. 8)
I reserve my concerns for dealing with NT society. EEP! 8O

Oh you invest in property? Are you still I currently doing it?

Back on to heights I hate ladders on the side of two story houses.
